Truro and its surrounds is extremely fortunate to have had Reg Munchenberg OAM who was a dedicated historian of the area. His book, Truro, the Travellers Rest: Wheels-Wheat-Wool, 1838-1989, is an invaluable resource for anyone wanting to more about the history of Truro.

The book is available for purchase from the Truro Post Office. Reg also sourced an extensive collection of historical documents and photographs, a number of which appear in his book.
