Opening of the Bushwalking Season in Truro
01 Apr 2012
South Australia is rich in trails for walking, and more are being created all the time.
On 1 April 2012, Trails SA, The Walking Federation of South Australia , and The Lavender Federation Trail are hosting the opening event of the 2012 bushwalking season in Truro. This event recognizes the extension of the Lavender Federation Trail into Truro from the start in Murray Bridge on its way to Clare.
Hundreds of walkers from all over the state will come to Truro on 1 April. There will be speakers, presentations, foundations and other groups with marquees and information, and of course good food and drink! Local churches, clubs and other groups are encouraged to participate and profit from this large gathering at the Oval. For information on being a stall holder, contact Reg Munchenberg on (08) 8564 0344 or write him at PO Box 17 Truro 5356.

Lavender Federation Trail Maps will be available on the day. Be sure to check out the rest of the trail, not just the segments right around Truro!
